Changing any system is always a daunting prospect, especially if you've been using one for many years. However change is constant and we are programmed to adapt so it's nothing to be scared of, especially when you have the right guidance and backup.

In many ways accounting is now moving from the analogue age into the digital age. Tools and systems that didn't exist a few short years ago are now available to small businesses and are being improved on all the time. Systems like Xero are a significant improvement on what went before and have the power to save you both time and money, as well as complying with the government's digital tax drive. So how do you go about moving?

The simple answer is to contact us. We have years of experience of transitioning clients onto Xero from manual or spreadsheet systems and also from desktop and other online accounting packages. We have Xero's migration certificate to prove it!

If you are transferring from another computer based system (such as Sage) we can often extract data from that system and migrate it directly to Xero in a matter of hours, minimising your downtime and avoiding manual reconstruction of your books. All your recent data and invoices will be available to view within Xero as though you'd been using the system all along! We'll also arrange the necessary training and will be on hand (and online!) for ongoing support.
